William “Chester” Perkins went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Chester was a disabled truck driver. He loved the Lord and would testify to people often of how God changed his life.
Chester is preceded in death by his father Chester Perkins and his special mother in law Faye Hamlin.
He is survived by his Mother, Lena Middleton Perkins of Corbin; His wife of 35 years Tammie Perkins; Two Sons who he was so proud of, Anthony Perkins and wife Tonya of Cawood and Adam Perkins and wife Chrystina of Cawood; Two Granddaughters who lit up his world, Hailey and Hannah Perkins, Also a Granddaughter due in February, Chesney Perkins; Step Grandson, Cameron Williams; Brother, Mark Perkins of Speedwell, TN; Two Sisters, Marie Grubbs of Harlan, Kim Long and husband Sonny of London; He is also survived by special friends Aaron Stapleton, Billy Joe Hensley; Special Sister in law and Brother in law, Macy and Dorman Cooper.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 5PM to 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 8PM also in the chapel with Aaron Stapleton officiating. He will be laid to rest with his Father at Resthaven Cemetery at 2PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
