Wanda Tackett, 56 of Harlan, passed away on June 11, 2022 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born to Manuel Whitehead and the late Effie Jean Osborne Whitehead on November 8, 1965.
Ms. Tackett is preceded in death by her Mother, Effie Whitehead; Husband, Millard Tackett; Sister, Thresa Brock; Grandparents, Llyod and Ollie Whitehead, Naoma Whitehead and Andy and Ida Osborne; Special Friend, Jewell Hughes.
Wanda is survived by her loving Children, Brittany Carmical (Shane Worthington), Justin Carmical and TJ Tackett; Grandchildren, Caden Mefford, Bryson Carmical, Shane Worthington Jr., Jaxson Carmical, Mason Tackett and one on the way; Sisters, Denise Thomas and Judy Jones (Simon); Special Friends, Janet Wilson, Donna Neil and Tammy Johnson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 11AM to 1PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1PM with Franklin Stewart Officiating and Chris Thompson and Seth Carmical assisting. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Friends and Family serving as pallbearers.
