Wanda Sue Gross, age 60, of Baxter, KY passed away July 23, 2015 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer with family and friends by her side. She was born January 25, 1955 in Harlan County to Lydia Bailey Caldwell of Bledsoe, KY and the late James Rufus Caldwell. She had a strong belief in the Pentecostal faith and was a long time member of the Bledsoe Pentecostal Church, Bledsoe, KY.
Survivors include husband, Denver Gross of Baxter, KY, daughter, Melissa Allen and husband, Brack, of Stinnett, KY, son, Travis Gross and wife, Jessica, of Bledsoe, grandchildren, Brack Allen, Jr., Sue Ellen Allen, Adell Allen, Calvin Gross, and Dylan Gross; brothers, Ronnie Caldwell and wife, Shannon and Donnie Caldwell and wife, Angela, all of Pineville, sisters, Sandy Turner and husband, Bill, of Bledsoe, Londa Slusher of Bledsoe, Connie Troxell and husband, Jeff, of Bledsoe, Nancy Couch and husband, Rick, of Stinnett, and Euna Caballero of Bledsoe.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 26 from 3 to 5pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 5pm in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with message by Perry Long and eulogy by Jim Lambert. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Turner, Rick Couch, Jeff Troxell, Nick Couch, Jim McQueen, David Crain, and Jon Hall.
