Wade Slusher, age 77 of Harlan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 25, 2020 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born January 16, 1943 to the late Lee and Erma Slusher. He was a retired school teacher and principal from the Harlan County Board of Education, he also retired from Southern Wholesale in Harlan. He was a Kentucky Colonel and also a Mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Lee and Erma Mosley Slusher.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Christine Slusher, son Anthony Slusher and wife Amy of London, Brothers; Bill Slusher and wife Linda of Mozelle, Eddie Slusher of Michigan, sister Jane Brock and husband Frank of London, host of nephews and a great niece and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Monday September 28, 2020 from 11 am to 1 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1 Pm with Reverend Bobby Rouse officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
