Vincent Edward McComb, age 54, of Cawood passed away peacefully on Thursday February 6, 2020 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital after a long illness. He was born December 19, 1965 and believes in the Baptist Faith and was a loyal UK fan. Vincent was a coal miner for several years and General Manager for Long John Silvers for several years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother Loretta Engle and Step Father Bill Engle of Bobs Creek, Sons Clinton McComb and fiancé Stephanie Pennington of Cumberland, Dustin Bray of Georgetown, Grandmother Lissie Daniels of Cawood, Sister Tammy Colvin and husband Glenn of Putney, Step sister Lora Montgomery and husband Robbie of Lexington, Step brother Billy Ray Engle of Harlan, Special granddaughter Olivia Grace McComb, step granddaughter Addison Page Eldridge, Nephew Foster Colvin, long life friend Kathy Shepherd, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday February 9, 2020 from 12 to 2 PM at Friendship Baptist Church in Cawood. Funeral Service will be at 2 PM with the Reverends Sean Daniels and Clark Stanton officiating. Graveside will follow at Britton Cemetery in Smith. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
