Vestina Saylor, 97, of Stoney Fork, passed away November 4, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born on February 10, 1921 to the late Eli Wilson and Mellie Helton. She believed in the Pentecostal Faith. Most important was her Faith and then her Family. She was a woman of great integrity, always being careful for nothing, even when no one but God was watching. She never forgot how the Lord had blessed her, even during her sickness. She never forgot her faith in the Lord.
Ms. Saylor is preceded in death by her Parents; Her loving Husband, A.D. Saylor; One Grandchild; One Great Grandchild; Sons: Ralph Saylor, James G. Saylor, and Wilkie Saylor.
Vestina is survived by her loving Children: Carolyn Brock and Husband Homer Lee, Elva Saylor and, Barbara Barnes; Eight Grandchildren; One Great Grandchild; Brother, Daniel Asher; Sister, Marie Depriest. A Host of Great Granchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 6PM to 7PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7PM with Charlie Napier and Ronnie Hoskins officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 12PM at Whispering Pines Cemetery. If you wish to go in Procession with the family, please meet at the Funeral Home by 11:15 AM.
