Verda Ellen Calhoun

Verda Ellen Calhoun, age 86, of Michigan, formerly of Harlan, passed away October 24, 2018. She was born in Pathfork, Kentucky on May 18, 1932. Verda was married to Claude Calhoun on December 24, 1947. She always had a passion for her family, watching thunderstorms, and fishing.
Verda is survived by her children, Jean (Gerald) Jenks, Claudette (Danny) Craig, Donita (Bill) Laessle, Debbie (Scot) Bower, Joan (Mike) Tenuta, Claude Calhoun Jr., Tiney (Scott) Ferguson, Billy Calhoun (Sarah), Seth (Amy) Calhoun, and the late Jimmy (Patty) Calhoun; her 54 wonderful grandchildren; her 50 great grandchildren; her 3 great great grandchildren; and her 5 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 7-9 PM at Pentecostal Holiness Church of Pathfork. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 11 AM also at the Church. Burial will follow at Saylor Cemetery.
