Truman Jones

Truman Jones, age 64, of Cawood, KY passed away March 25, 2015 at Continue Care Hospital at Baptist Health, Corbin, KY. He was born May 12, 1950 in Harlan, KY to the late Gervis and Eliza Mills Jones. He was a bookkeeper and accountant with Harlan Cumberland Coal. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Cawood, KY. He was a former treasurer for the Upper Cumberland Baptist Association.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Carol Jones of Cawood, KY, sons, Chris (Tara) Jones of Corbin and Brian (Madison) Jones of Norris, TN, granddaughters, Lindsay and Hannah Jones of Corbin, brothers Tommy Jones of Hazard, KY and Jack Jones of Kingston, TN, sisters-in-law, Wanda (Wayne) Ramsey of Farmers Mill, Helen (Don) Halcomb of Harlan, brothers-in-law, Calvin (Jean) Hensley of London, KY,George (Minerva) Hensley of Browning Acres, Bill (Ursula) Hensley of Cawood, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27 from 5 to 7PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 7PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Reverends Gary Craig, Sr., Doug Daniel and Stephen Daniel officiating. Burial will be Saturday, March 28 at 12PM at Resthaven Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
