Talton Belcher

Talton Belcher, 55 of Helton, KY, passed away on October 25, 2022 after a brief period of illness. He fell just short of his birthday, having been born on November 17, 1966 in Pineville, Ky. He was the youngest of three sons born to the late John Belcher Sr. and Kathleen Hensley leaving him to always be known as his Mommy’s baby boy. To make a living, Talton did carpentry work as well as driving a dump truck for many years. In his spare time he was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed getting up early and eating gravy with cat head biscuits, he never turned a plate down a lot of times even eating them for supper.
Talton is preceded in death by both of his parents; a dearly missed Brother, John Belcher Jr.; a Step Father of 32 years, James Collins.
Those left surviving with many fond memories include his only child, Austin Belcher and Girlfriend Matessa Cox of Wallins; Companion of the last seven years, Joyce Brock of Helton; Brother, Jeff Belcher (Becky) of Bledsoe; Sisters, Jean Caldwell of Bledsoe, Liz Belcher (Lloyd) of Wallins and April Collins of Bledsoe; Nieces and Nephews, Joseph, Jeannie, Jaida, Ember, Tabitha, Leslie, Devin, Casey and Logan; Uncles, Ephie Hensley of Bledsoe, Ernest Brock of Bledsoe and Rev. Bo Caldwell (Vicky) of Helton; A Best Friend and Cousin, Brandon Hensley of Bledsoe; Very Special Friend, Freddy Brock of Bledsoe; Also surviving is the Mother of his Son and Wife of many years, Kristie Middleton of Bledsoe.
The family would additionally like to extend a special thank you to a few ladies whom Talton had adopted as family and who were also so very kind and loving toward him especially in the end when he needed it most, Eunice, Stella, Lottie and Corrine.
Visitation for loved ones of Mr. Talton Belcher will be held at Dry Fork Holiness Church in Helton on October 28, 2022 beginning at 6PM and continuing until the Funeral hour on October 29, 2022 at 1PM. Rev. Ted Brock and Rev. Bo Caldwell will be officiating.
Services will come to an end as Talton is laid to rest next to his older Brother at Marrowbone Cemetery in Warbranch.
Pallbearers will include Bobby Johnson, Reason Sullivan. George Lawson, Archie Hendrix, Casey Belcher, Michael Saylor, Brandon Hensley and Freddie Brock.
