Roy Lee Long

Roy Lee Long, 77 of Smith, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1941 at Smith, KY. Roy was a retired concrete finisher for Greer Construction of London, KY. He believed in the Pentecostal Faith.
Mr. Long is preceded in death by his Parents, Nancy Hensley Long and Rev. Patton Long; Seven Brothers, Joe, Aaron, Henry, Daniel, Alfred, James and Millard; Five Sisters, Fannie Bowman, Lucille Hamlin, Merica Eldridge, Ella Smith and Betty Weaver.
Roy Lee is survived by a Brother, Barney Long of Tennessee; Three Sisters, Lillie Daniels of Smith, Deloris Russell of Tennessee and Oma Maxwell and Husband Terry of North Carolina. A Host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Special Friends, Clifford Daniels and Eric Cupp.
Visitation will be Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6PM to 9PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1PM at Faith Holiness Church in Smith with Doug Daniels, Perry Long and Spencer Burkhart officiating. Burial will follow at Hensley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Henry Long, Joseph Fultz, Jamie Daniels, Terry Maxwell, Kevin Long, Justin Long and Charles Hamlin.
