Roscoe Wilson

Mr. Roscoe Edwin Wilson of Hazard, Kentucky passed away Thursday Sept. 14, 2017 at the Hazard VA Center. Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 12, 1931 in Helton, KY the son of the late Shelby Lee Wilson and Isabell Bailey Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a welder by trade, a Kentucky Colonel and a US Army Veteran. He loved to hunt and fish.
Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers; John, Elmer, Cecil, Lester, Loren, and Winfred Wilson and a sister; Vida Fraely.
Left to mourn his passing are his son, Michael Wilson; a daughter, Rosemary Wilson; two step daughters, Diane Nolan and Donna Sue Jamison; two sisters, Jayce Merta and Delilah Brown; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be conducted at 1PM, Saturday Sept. 16, 2017 in the Wilson Family Cemetery in Beechfork, Kentucky. Steve Wilson will officiate the service. Military Honors will be by the Harlan County Honor Guard.
