Ronnie Clayborn

Ronnie Clayborn, 65 of Cranks, passed away on January 18, 2025 at the Lee County Community Hospital in Pennington Gap, Va. He was born to the late Ralph and Pauline Woodard Clayborn on August 5, 1959. He was a retired coal miner. 

Mr. Clayborn is preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers, Marvin Clayborn, James Clayborn and Jerry Clayborn.

Ronnie is survived by his Spouse, Melissa Ledford; Children, Michael Clayborn and Wife Adrienne, Roger Lee Ledford and Wife Jackie, Marlena Clayborn-Simpson and Husband Justin, Shelby Helton and Husband John; Sister, Marlene Clayborn Hensley and Partner Tanna Owens; Brother in Law, Jack Hensley; Grandchildren, Rylee Clayborn, Gaven Clayborn, Nevaeh Nantz, Aleeah Nantz, Benton Bingham, Mackenzie Ledford, Charlie Ledford, Bellamina Ledford and Avahlee Helton; Special Friends, Matt Carroll and Gary Colegrove; A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends will also mourn his passing. 

Visitation will be from 12PM to 2PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2PM with Doug Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at the Day Jackson Cemetery in Cranks with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
