Ronald Smith

Ronald Smith, a retired coal miner from Harlan, Kentucky, passed away on December 14, 2023. He was born on March 3, 1955, in Harlan, Kentucky.

Ronald dedicated many years of his life to working in the coal mining industry. He was known for his hard work and dedication to providing for his family. A Christian, Ronald attended the Gulston Church of God.

Outside of work, Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He cherished the moments shared with his wife, Sharon Engle Smith. Ronald was also a proud father to his daughter Rhonda Smith Gilbert of Arizona and loving sibling to his brothers, Marty Smith, Kirby Smith and sister, Sharon Smith.
