Robert Lane, 84, passed away peacefully at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital on May 19th, 2023. He was born on November 24th, 1938 in Williamson, West Virginia to Elmer and Edith Lewis Lane.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer Lane and Edith Lewis Lane along with several other relatives who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms as he entered heaven.
He is survived by is wife Judith Lane; Son, Paul Jeffery Lane and Wife Marie; Brother, Larry Sargent; Sisters, Sharon Clark and Patty Lynn Lovely and Two Grandsons.
Robert's family will receive friends and family for visitation in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25th from 5PM to 7PM. A funeral service will follow on Friday, May 26th at Totz Baptist Church beginning at 1 PM with David Jones officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Resthaven Cemetery.
As we say goodbye to Robert Lane, let's cherish the memories of this remarkable man who brought so much love into our lives. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
