Robert Baker

Robert Baker, 68, of Grays Knob, passed away March 13, 2020 at Lonesome Pine Hospital with his Wife by his side. Robert was Barbara’s Best friend, her heart and her hero. Robert was a good Christian Man and He is now walking the streets of Gold and singing with the Angels.
He had attended the Grays Knob Church of God where he enjoyed being involved with his church. He loved the Lord, his furbabies, Missy and Alley, his family and Friends, along with the Wildcats and Nascar.
Mr. Baker is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Ross Baker and Edna Baker Martin; Step Father, Carl Martin; Brother, Floyd Baker; Sister, Emma Baker Adkins; Brother in Law, Rodney Adkins; Step Brother, John Martin; Nephew, Evan Martin; Sister in Law, Sharon Rice; Brother in Laws, Danny Rice and Joe Koger; and his Furbaby, Fatcat.
Robert is survived by his loving Wife of 14 years, Barbara Moore Baker; Two Brothers, Ralph Martin and Wife Brenda of Harlan and Jimmy Martin of Harlan; Mother in Law, Helen Moore of Nippa, KY; Several Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends also mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2020 from 5PM to 8PM at the Grays Knob Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 8PM with Ronnie Williams and Howard Hensley officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11AM at Resthaven Cemetery with Ralph Martin, Jimmy Martin, Chuck Hammond, Ken Dixon, Bud Dixon, Howard Hensley and Tony Vaughn serving as pallbearers. If you would like to go in procession with the family they are meeting at Grays Knob Church of God by 10:30 AM.
