Phillip Peggs

Phillip Lester Peggs, 50 of Cawood, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.

Phillip was born on May 29, 1973 in Harlan to the late George Dewey Peggs and Georgia Faye Knuckles Peggs. He believed in the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. He was a Coal Miner for 17 years. He devoted his time to his family and loved riding his four wheeler.

Besides his Parents, Phillip is preceded in death by his Siblings, Melissa Faye Peggs, Dewey Lee Peggs and Jimmy Wayne Peggs.

Phillip is survived by his loving Wife, Jackie Peggs; His Children, Ashley Witt and Husband Tyler, Kelsey Peggs and Husband Dustin; Grandchildren, Preston Witt, Adalee Witt and Haislee Lewis, whom he loved more than anything; He also leaves behind a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins to mourn his passing.

Visitation for Mr. Peggs will begin at 5PM until 8PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 3PM with Johnny Smith and Willard King officiating. Burial will follow at the Tway Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
