Ova Cole

Ova Howard Cole, 82, of Wallins, KY went home to be with The Lord Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Harlan ARH following a short illness. She was born July 11, 1930 at Wallins, KY to the late Oliver and Elizabeth Cornett Howard. She retired from Cumberland River Comprehensive Care. Ova was a member of the Wallins Baptist Church and a member of the Wallins Order of the Eastern Stars # 396.

She is preceded in death by husband, William H. Cole; parents, Elizabeth and Oliver Howard; also several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Ron Cole and wife, Josie, of Wallins, KY, Billy Cole and wife, Lisa of Wallins, KY; twin sister, Nova Boerner of Harlan, KY, brother,William Roger Howard and wife, Judy, of Harlan KY, special niece, Donna Cox, of Wallins, KY; 6 grandchildren, Lisa Saylor and husband, Boss, Jeff Cole and wife, Ashley,Josh Cole and fiancé, Ashley, Jennifer Collins and husband, Thomas, Jacob Cole and fiancé, Brittany, and Stephanie Cole. Three great-grandchildren: Tyler and Trenton Cole, and Hailey Collins, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 3 to 6PM at the Wallins Baptist Church, Wallins, KY.

Funeral will be Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 4PM with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Rev. Freeman Clark willbe officiating. Burial will immediately follow funeral at the New Creech Cemetery, Wallins, KY with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
