Orel Taylor

Orel Taylor, 97, of Baxter passed away Saturday November 20, 2021. He was born September 4, 1924 to the late Lee and Dora Taylor. He was a United State Marine Corp Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his wife Thelma Taylor, daughter in law Joy Taylor, brothers Silas, Roy, Robert and Harley, Sisters Verna Quick and Sudie Mavilia.
Orel leaves to cherish his memory his Sons, Bobby Taylor and wife Annette of Jacksboro, TN and Russell Taylor of Harlan; Sister, Mattie Riley of Stockton, CA; Grandchildren, Amanda Dabney and Husband Travis, Ryan Taylor and Wife Laura, Jeremy Taylor, Kellie Taylor, Jody Taylor; Great Grand children, Lucas Taylor, Griffin Taylor, Taylor Dabney and Caleb Dabney.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 23, 2021 from 5 to 7 Pm in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, Funeral Service will follow at 7 PM with Reverend Gene Harris officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11AM at Gatun Community Cemetery in Baxter with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
