Nannie Faye Collins

Nannie Faye Collins 97, of Cawood, KY passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center in Harlan, KY. She was born July 20, 1916 in Harlan County, KY. She was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Mary Brewer Stewart, two sons Fred Johnson and Donald Ray Johnson, son-in-law, James Fee, three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by five children: Alma Fee of Loyall, KY, Helen Vanover and husband, Raymond, of London, KY, Hobart Johnson of Harlan, KY, Coburn Green and wife, Juanita, of Phoenix , AZ and Alice Faye Waddell of Indianapolis, IN. 20 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Joyce Johnson of Hopkinsville, KY.

Visitation will be held Sunday March 2, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday March 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
