Mossie Edwards

Mossie Edwards, 94 of Harlan, passed away September 12, 2020 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born to the late Clarence and Cleo Roe Walden on July 9, 1926. She was an emergency school teacher during World War II at Jessies Creek, KY. She has also taught at Molus and Cawood Elementary.
Ms. Edward is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband of 56 years, Shelby Edwards; Brother, John C Walden and Grandsons, David Wayne Cornett and Larry Joe Cornett.
Mossie is survived by her loving Children, Jim Edwards and Wife Robbin of Frankfort and Shelby Jean Farley of Keith; Granddaughter, Billie Katherine Farley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 12PM to 1PM with Funeral Services following at 1PM. Gary Biddle will be officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
