Mildred Kathleen "Kat" Stacey

Mildred Kathleen “Kat” Stacey, 90 of Harlan, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard. She was born to the late Ellis and Lilly Tabor Burgess on August 5, 1931.
Ms. Stacey is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Harry “Sonny” Stacey; Son, Rodney Stacey; Four Brothers and Two Sisters.
Kat is survived by her Son, Randy Stacey; Grandchildren, Miranda (Zachary) Howard, Ashleigh (Jada) Stacey, Jason Stacey, Scott Stacey, and Laura (Will) Tuttle; Great Granddaughter, Allysa Stacey; Brother, John Burgess; Sister, Mary Lou; Daughter In Law, Sue Byrd; A Host of Close Friends along with Special Friends Monica Howard and Sheila Smith will also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Friday, December 3rd, 2021 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 6:30 with Ronnie Dale Shackleford officiating. Burial will be Saturday December 4th, 2021 at 11:30AM at Huff Cemetery in Cumberland with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice center for their hospitality and kindness during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kat’s honor can be made to activities within the Harlan Independent School District or the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice center.
