Michael Payne, 62, of Wallins, passed away at his residence, July 2, 2016. He was born to the late Kess and Carol Payne in the year 1954. He was a devoted family man.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Payne is survived by his loving Wife of 42 years, Sherry Payne; Children, Tracy (Miron) Southerland of Surgoinsville, TN, Laura (Eric) Caldwell of Bledsoe, KY and Autumn Payne of Wallins, KY; Grandchildren, Cory (Sandy) Southerland of Baxter, Austin Southerland of Surgoinsville, TN, Scarlett Rose of Wallins, Rosalee Caldwell of Bledsoe; Great- Grandchild, Noah Southerland of Baxter; Sister, Lisa (Archie) Pope; Brother, Randall (Denise) Payne of Coeburn, VA. Several nieces, nephews and close friends survive.
The family would like to thank everyone for the calls and kind words. His wishes were to not have a service. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Harlan Humane Society, because he loved his animal dearly.
