Maude C. Jarvis

Maude C. Jarvis, age 86, of Cumberland, KY passed away November 12, 2014 at the Harlan ARH. She was born March 29, 1928 in Big Stone Gap, VA to the late Simon Matthew Coeburn and Elizabeth Louise Porchie. She was a retired store clerk and believed in the Catholic faith.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jarvis, brother, Jimmy Coeburn and sister, Evelyn Maddon.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Deloris) Jarvis of Totz KY, grandchildren Ashley Jarvis (Tim Callahan) of Hiram, KY and Derrick (Shanna) Jarvis of Totz KY, 2 great grandchildren, Rylee and McKenzie Jarvis, sisters, Barbara B. Stone of Nicholasville, KY and Katherine J. Blake of Lynch; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 14 from 5 to 7PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 7PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Marjorie Greishop officiating. Interment will be at the Pittsburg Cemetery, Laurel Co., KY Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1PM with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
