Marie Boggs

Marie Boggs, 78 of Bledsoe, passed away on September 12, 2024 at the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. She was born to the late Willie and Bertha Jones Daniels on May 18, 1946. 

Mrs. Boggs is preceded in death by her Parents and a Son, John Boggs.

Marie is survived by her loving Husband, Michael Boggs; Daughter, Angela Gross and Husband Jimmy Dean; Sons, Brent Johnson and Wife Paula and Wesley Boggs and Wife Kristie; Step- Son, Chris Boggs; Grandchildren, Jennifer, Allison, Emerson, Bethany, Jeffrey, Lydia, Lindsay and Michael; Great Grandchildren, Nolan, Ellie, Kia, Cayden, Hadley, Mason and Charlie; Brothers, J.D. Daniels, Walter Daniels and Roger Daniels; Sisters, Bonnie Hawks, Debbie Holmes and Rosie Muncy. Several Nieces, Nephews, family and friends will also mourn her passing. 

A visitation for Marie will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 5PM to 7PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7PM with Kermit Creech officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 at 1PM at the Scearse/Boggs Cemetery in Bledsoe with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
