Lora Mae Hensley

Lora Mae Hensley, age 73, of Smith, KY passed away May 15, 2015 at her home following a long illness. She was born March 15, 1942 at Smith, KY to the late James Harvey and Eliza Short Stewart. Lora was a business owner and ran a store in Smith for 18 years. She believed in the Pentecostal faith.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Burt Hensley, brother, Danny Wayne Stewart and sister, Georgia Nell Stewart.

Survivors include brothers, James H. Stewart of Shepherdsville, KY, Clarence Edward Stewart of Chicago, IL, Hershel (Kaye) Stewart of Smith, KY, sisters, Shirley (Harold) Hall of Bardstown, KY, Barbara Stewart of Chicago, IL, Elizabeth (Freeman) Daniels of Smith, KY, Josephine Shepherd of Harlan, KY, Suzie (William) Daniels of Smith, KY, Deborah White of Florida, and special niece, Liza Mae (James) Brooks of Middlesboro, KY.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 17 from 5 to 8PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday, May 18 at 11AM at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Smith, KY with Reverends Ernest Hensley and Tommy Vanatter officiating. Burial will be at the Vine Daniels Cemetery, Smith, KY with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
