Lonnie Ray King born on March 12, 1951 formerly of Harlan, Ky, passed away February 27, 2016 at Park West Medical Center after battling a short illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ulysses Ralph King and Hettie Lee (Bailey) King; Infant sibling, Glen King; Two Step-Sons, Clayton Lemar and Richard Lemar, both of Knoxville, TN.
Lonnie is survived by his brothers, Ronald Gene (Sharon) King of Pineville and Robert (Bobby) King of Evarts; Sisters, Mary Rose King Maxwell of Middlesboro and Loretta (Suddi) King Rodriguez of Grays Knob; Step-Son, Adam Lemar of Georgia and grandchildren; Two Aunts, Rosetta Bailey Young (Keith Enger) of Tampa, FL and Emma Bailey Whitten of Heinsdale, IL; Nieces, Cissy (King) Daniels of Harlan and Jennifer Frazier of Middlesboro; Nephew, Ronnie (Jennifer) King of Loyall. Also a host of cousins of diverse places. Special Life long friends, Marcella Smith of Harlan, Shirley Parsons of Raleigh, NC and Vicki Drye of Albermerle, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home Thursday, March 2, 2016 at 11AM. Leon Allen and Willard King will be officiating.
