Lois Faye Broughton

Lois Faye Broughton, 78 of Baxter, passed away on March 17, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 3, 1945 to the late Hobert and Bessie Vanover Creech. She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, searching for hickory chickens, hunting for Elk sheds and wondering through her daughters garden enjoying the day. 

Ms. Broughton is preceded in death by her Parents; Son, Billy Broughton; Daughter, Barbara Broughton; and a Sister, Sylvia Napier.

Lois is survived by her Loving Husband, Leroy Broughton; Daughters, Beverly (Gavin Wilson) Broughton and Bobbie (Zack) Huff; Grandchildren, Billy Joe Sasser and Grandpup, Gracie Rose; Special Friends, Gail, Ruby and Pam. Several Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends will also mourn her passing.

A Visitation will be held from 5PM to 6PM on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Memorial services will follow at 6PM with Jimmy Huff officiating.
