Lloyd Edens, of Harlan, KY, a skilled and dedicated mechanic who specialized in working on semi-trucks, has passed away at the age of 55. Born on August 14, 1967, in LaGrange, KY, Lloyd was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.

Lloyd's passion for all things mechanical started at an early age. He had an innate ability to understand the intricate workings of machinery and embraced it as his life's work.

Mr. Edens was preceded in death by his parents Robert Edens, Sr. and Betty Wright Edens.

Left to mourn his passing is his Wife, Leona Edens; Sons, Brian Weaver,Lloyd Edens Jr.  and Aaron Smith and Wife Jennifer all of Ohio; Daughters, Kristy Honeycutt and husband Joshua of Harlan, Chantell Taylor and husband Zach of Ohio and Melissa Putteet and husband Greg of Ohio; Brother, Robert Seivers Edens Jr. and Wife Kimberly of Wallins; Sisters, Linda Smith of Ohio and Brenda Ward and husband Ray of Harlan; Special family member,  John Cline; 16 grandchildren and a host of other relatives survive.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 27,^, 2023 from 1PM – 4PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Park Howard Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
