Linda Gail Clem-Thompson-Cassity, 71 of Cawood- Dayton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Harlan ARH due to a long illness. She was born on June 13, 1949.
She was a telephone operator for 30 years with Bellsouth and AT&T. She was also in the first graduating class of James A. Cawood High School.
Ms. Cassity is preceded in death by her Grandparents, Lewis and Jo-anna Stewart Grubbs; Father, Silas “Buck” Clem; Stepfather, Fred Shackleford; Two Husbands, Marvin Thompson and Chuck Cassity; One Step Son.
Linda Gail is survived by her Mother, Georgia Shackleford of Crummies; Son, Derek Thompson of Crummies; Brothers, Billy Joe Clem of Cawood, Silas “Jack” Clem and Wife Marlene of Loyall and Ronald Clem and Wife Debra of Three Point; Sister, Melissa Shackleford Caldwell and Husband David of Crummies; Step Son, Robert Thompson of Dayton, OH; Three Step Grandchildren all of Dayton, OH; A Host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also mourn her passing.
All Services are Private.
Per Governor Andy Beshear’s Executive Order; All Visitations, Funeral/Memorial Services and Graveside/Committal Services are limited to 25 individuals total, regardless of where the services are held. No rotation of individuals in and out of the funeral home for visitations will be allowed. Masks are required for entry into the Funeral Home. All Services are required to be private.
