Lillie Callahan

Lillie Callahan, 83, of Bledsoe, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born to the late Chester and Stella Huff Couch on May 8, 1936. She was a loving and faithful wife for 64 years, a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother. Lillie was a member of Pine Mountain Church of God for many years. She didn’t just love her family, she loved everyone and always put her family and others first.
Ms. Callahan is preceded in death by her Parents, Chester and Stella Couch; Husband of 64 years, Dexter Callahan; Three Sisters, Edna Eldridge, Mae Callahan and Callie Gross; Two Brothers, Dillard Couch and Homer Shell; Daughter, Glenda Sue Callahan; Two Grandchildren, Dewayne Lewis and Sierra Callahan.
Lillie is survived by her loving Children, Barbara Callahan of Fairview, Bobby Callahan and Wife Darlene of Bledsoe, Bill Callahan of Bledsoe, Lonnie Callahan and Wife Sandra of Baxter, Helen Callahan of Bledsoe and Rhonda Hamilton and Husband Ronald of McCreary County; 14 Grandchildren; 29 Great Grandchildren; 10 Great, Great Grandchildren; A host of family and friends also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2020 beginning at 1PM at Pine Mountain Church of God until Funeral Services begin at 1PM on Sunday, February 16, 2020.
Kermit Creech, Darrell Turner, Winfred Causey and Jimmy Huff will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Callahan Family Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
