Leona Napier

Leona Napier, 74 of Bledsoe, passed away on February 2, 2022 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born to the late Jim L. and Vona Warren Broughton on October 12, 1947. She was a believer in the Pentecostal Faith. She was a faithful member of Mill Branch Church of God for 50 years where she enjoyed singing and teaching Sunday School. Mrs. Napier is preceded in Death by her Parents; Sister, Sudie Mae Brock; Brother in Law, Henry Brock. Leona is survived by her loving Husband of 54 years and 7 months, Kelly Napier Sr.; Her Children, Kelly John Napier Jr. and Wife Jessica, Matthew J. Napier and Wife Nicole and Katherine Farley and Husband Cody; Grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and Jordyn Napier, Logan and Isabella Napier and Caleb and Caiden Farley; Brothers, Leroy Broughton and Wife Lois and Glen Broughton and Wife Audrey; Sister, Mable Benge and Husband Merle; Special Nephew, Steve Broughton; Many other family members and friends will also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 12PM to 2PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2PM with Kelly John Napier Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Napier Cemetery with John, Matt, Justin, Josh, Logan and Cody Serving as Pallbearers. The family of Mrs. Napier has requested that face coverings be worn during the visitation and funeral.
