Larry Gene Swanson Sr.

Larry Gene Swanson Sr., 75 of Sharps Chapel, TN, passed away at his residence on January 28, 2022. He was born to the Late Bill and Oma Irvin Swanson on February 3, 1946. He was a retired Coal Miner and a proud Vietnam Veteran. He loved to fish and had caught a 42 pound Rockfish in Norris Lake.
Mr. Swanson is preceded in death by His Parents; First Wife, Leatha Noe; Brothers, Roger Clem and Marty Clem and a Grandson, Zack Swanson.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty Swanson; Sons, William Swanson and Larry Swanson Jr. and Wife Michelle; Step Grandchildren, Sherry Stanley and Stanley Vickery; Brother, Bill Swanson Jr.;Sister, Joyce Osborne; Half Siblings, Jerry Irvin, Timothy Clem, Rocky Clem, Matthew Clem and Robin Clem.
Visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2022 from 11AM to 1PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 1PM. Burial will follow in the Irvin Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
