Joyce Ann Posey

Joyce Ann Posey, age 67, of Coalgood, KY passed away June 26, 2015 at the Harlan ARH. She was born July 29, 1947 in Hazard, KY to Edna Engle of Viper, KY and the late Joe Engle. She was a housewife and believed in the church of God faith.

Besides her father, she is preceded in death by sister, Imogene Sickmen, father and mother in law, Henry and Sina Posey, and brothers in law, Wayne Ricketts and Roger Posey.

She leaves behind her loving husband, the love of her life, Jim Posey of Harlan, daughter, Sandy Collins and husband, Robert, of Sneedville, TN, her sons, James “Bubby” Posey and wife, Rhonda, of Dandridge, TN, and Brady Posey of Harlan, sisters, Evelyn Ricketts of Bremen, IN, Hettie Sumner and husband, Ova, of Viper, KY, Peggy Burton and husband, Spencer of Viper, KY, Brothers, Johnny Wayne Engle and wife, Brenda, of Bremen, IN, Joe Engle, Jr. of Viper, Larry Engle and wife, Carol, of Viper, Jimmy Engle and wife, Missy, of Viper, KY, grandchildren, Jeffery Ferguson of Sneedville, TN, Karissa Goins of Sneedville, TN, Dustin Robinson and wife Olyene of Harlan, Derrick Robinson and wife, Heather of Harlan, Shelbea Posey, Austin Posey, and Anna Posey all of Dandridge, TN, Ryan Clem and wife, Brooke of Harlan, great grandchildren, Seth Robinson, Rockell Robinson, Tori Robinson, and Jaylin Robinson, all of Harlan, lifelong best friend, Joyce Napier of Cranks, KY and a host of family, friends, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30 from 5 to 8pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Wednesday, July 1 at 11am with Billy Posey officiating. Burial will be at the Day Jackson Cemetery, Cranks, KY with Dustin Robinson, Ryan Clem, Robert Collins, Aaron Posey, Ronnie Robinson and Cody Bentley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Derrick Robinson.
