Janice Faye Barrett

Janice Faye Barrett, 66 of Grays Knob, entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born on Bob’s Creek in Harlan County on May 19, 1955 to the late Joseph and Georgie Cain.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Cain and Georgie Brewer Cain, Husband Virgil Barrett and Brother Joseph Cain.
Janice leaves to cherish her memory her children Mark Cain and wife Amanda of Rose hill, VA, Natasha Duff and husband Kenneth of Evarts, Misty Minyard of Grays Knob, Sister Peggy Suarez of Rose Hill, VA. Grandchildren Cody, Joshua, Mahala Cain, Kyle Duff, Ashley and Madison Minyard, very special friend Mary Helton, grandson Logan Philpot, special sister in law Linda Barrett, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday January 21, 2022 from 12-2 Pm in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2 PM with Reverend Franklin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
