Janet Galloway, 67, of Harlan went home to be with the Lord after a long illness. She was born Feb. 7, 1948 to the late Viola Alcorn of Ohio and Hargus Eve of Irvin. She believed in the Holiness faith. She was known to many as “Momma” or “Granny.” She was very loved.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, David Neal, her husband, Frank Galloway.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Ladonna Neal, Jesse Neal (Bessie), Alson Neal, grandchildren, Dustyn Neal of Harlan, Donna Thompson (Lloyd) of Harlan, John, Jesse, and Kimberly Neal of Dayhoit, Jessica Howard (Justin) and their kids Caleb and Noah, five sisters and brothers: Ladonna King (Roger) of Ohio, Wanna Loveless (Dave) of Ohio, Gina, Perline, and Bertie Mae of Indiana, Eddie Eve (Annette) of Ohio, and Robbie Alcorn of Kentucky. She had many special friends that she loved like family: Fuschia and Fred Couch, Thresa Brock, Wanda Tackett and her kids, Britany, T.J., and Justin, Ray Tackett and wife, Vincentina, and sweet hospice nurses Kimberly and Crystal who she loved dearly.
A private memorial service will be held.
