Mr. James E. Napier, age 95 of Bledsoe passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at the Tri-City Nursing and Rehabilitation. James worked as a logger, miner, rock quarry, road construction, certified in blasting and explosives, night watchman and always farmed.
James is preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna Whitehead Napier; His wife of 66 years Opal Lee (Nolan) Napier, two brothers Mack Arthur Napier and Bige Napier, Four sisters Elizabeth Napier, Aire Napier, Ruby Wilson and Melissa Holtcamp.
He is survived by seven children, Lonnie D. Napier (Joann), James D. Napier (Cletties), Jerry W. Napier (Glenna), Ruth A Napier of Bledsoe, KY. Helen L Couch of Cicero, IN. Linda S Napier of Stinnett, KY, Deborah L. Lewis of Ewing, VA, two brothers Bennie Napier, Kelly Napier (Leona) of Bledsoe, KY, fifteen Grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and one due in October 2018, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in laws, brother in laws and friends.
Burial will be Saturday March 31, 2018 at 1 PM at the Napier family Cemetery in Bledsoe with family and friends. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
