James Muncy Sr.

James Muncy, 60, of Harlan, passed away on May 25, 2024 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born to the late Wilson and Pricilla King Muncy on January 28, 1964. 

Mr. Muncy is preceded in death by his parents and a Sister, Janet Dean.

James is survived by his loving Wife, Patricia Muncy; Children, James Muncy Jr., Wilson Muncy, Faith Ann Muncy, Henry Muncy and Wife Rosie and Kevin Muncy and Wife Kristy; Grandchildren, Addison Muncy, Preston Muncy, Alley Muncy, Brooks Muncy, Liam Broughton, Sophie Muncy, Josh Webb and Charles Muncy; Brothers, Paul Muncy and Arnold Muncy; Sister, Christine Muncy; Special Niece, Bailey Shope; Several Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends will also mourn his passing. 

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 5PM to 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2PMalso in the Chapel with Sean Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Stanfield Cemetery in Catrons Creek with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
