James "Bo" E. Blevins

James "Bo" Blevins, 72 of Coldiron, KY, after giving his heart to Jesus, passed to his Heavenly Home on April 7, 2025. He was born to Grace and Homer Blevins on March 13, 1953. He was a retired coal miner who worked hard for his family and instilled that work ethic in his children. A kindhearted man who helped others when he could, he enjoyed time with family, friends and playing with his grandchildren.

Mr. Blevins was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Grace and Homer Blevins, brother FG Blevins and sister, Rena Smallwood.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Cheryl Blevins, son, James and wife Melissa, Jeremy and wife Robin and grandchildren, Emilee, Ella and Ezra. Also surviving is his sister Dart and husband Russell Bellar, Jan and husband Richard Saylor, brother Pot and wife Freda Blevins, Billy and wife Diane Blevins, David and wife Linda Blevins, sister-in-law Christine Blevins and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Special friends, Terry Loving, Jim Collett, Michael Green, Gene Green and Carl Wagner.

Special thanks to Dr. Jeremy Jackson with the Daniel Boone Clinic in Harlan, Dr. Sharma and the nurses at Baptist Health in Corbin.

Visitation for Mr. Blevins will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Harvest Worship Center from 4 PM until 7 PM with funeral services following at 7 PM with the Reverends Ron Lee and Roland Lee officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11 AM at the family cemetery in Coldiron, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
