Jacqueline "Jackie" Godsey

Jacqueline “Jackie” Godsey, 75 of Tremont, passed away on June 19, 2023 at her home. She was born to the late Willie and Dalia Jones Leath on July 28, 1947. She graduated from Loyall High School, Class of 1966. She then worked at the Harlan Nursing Home for 20 years. Jackie believed in the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death are her Parents; her husband, Harold Godsey, Jr.  Son, Harold Godsey III; Daughter, Debbie Nicely; Brothers, Willie Dixon and King Leath.

Jackie is survived by her Daughters, Renae Shepherd and Husband David and Lora Godsey; Bonus Daughter, Elizabeth Davenport; Grandchildren, Dylan Lively Shepherd, Allan Nicely, LeAnne Nicely, Michael Branham, Christina Branham, Jessica Klein, Joshua Godsey, Jeremy Thomas, Kendell Lewis, Zach Gross and Elijah Davenport; 13 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Barbara Baltimore; Son In Law, Dwayne Nicely; Sister In law, Ella Leath; several nieces, nephews, family and friends will also mourn her passing.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11AM to 1PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1PM with Freeman Clark officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery with Friends and Family serving as pallbearers.
