Howard Qualls

Howard Qualls, 84, of Cawood went home to be with the Lord on August 6th, 2016. He was born January 11, 1932 at Crummies, KY to the late Tom and Lora Moore Qualls. He proudly served in the U. S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Tillman Qualls, Elmer Qualls, Thurman Qualls, James Qualls, Don Qualls, Harvey Qualls, and Gertrude Qualls.
He leaves behind his loving wife Mary of 62 years. He also leaves behind a brother William (Rozelle) Qualls of Canton, OH. Three children, Cindy Snyder of New York, Howard Jr. and wife Edna of Florida, and Lora Southard and husband Rodney of Cawood. Also two special nieces Vickie Qualls and Robin (Joe) Reed. His grandchildren, Timothy (Terry) Campbell, Rebekah (Chad) Jacobus, Peter (Jennie) Campbell, Jennifer (Paul) Brantley, Vanessa (Oscar) Pastrana, Justin Qualls, Amy (Bobby) Hobbs, Haley Qualls, Kristina (Mike) Zimmerman, Errin Southard, Shannon (Derrick)Yeager, and Shawn Southard, 21 Great Grandchildren. Special Friend Joyce Dane and many nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
Reverend Joe Howard and Reverend Franklin Stewart is in charge of service. Visitation will be at Lenarue Baptist Church on Tuesday from 5 pm to 9pm with funeral service on Wednesday at 1pm also at Lenarue Baptist Church with burial immediately after at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with Military rites by the Harlan County Honor Guard.
