Herman Smith

Herman Smith, age 72 of Harlan passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his residence after a long illness. He was born November 26, 1948 in Eolia, KY to the late Morgan and Barbara Smith. He was a Coal miner. He is preceded in death by his parents; Morgan Smith an Barbara Frank Smith, step daughters: Renie Joseph and Paula Brock. Herman leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Rebecca Couch Smith, Son Herman Smith and wife Marcella of Winchester, Daughter Tammy Johnson and husband Tim of Big Laurel, Stepchildren: Jack Ison and wife Ivalou of upper Elcomb, Michael Ison of Stanfill, Son in law Hiram Joseph, Kannie Gross and husband Paul of Bledsoe, Marvin Smith and wife Miriam of Louisville, Matthew Smith of Texas, a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 2-6PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
