Georgia Ann Blaylock

Georgia Ann Blaylock of Wallins Creek, KY entered her Heavenly home on December 5th, 2019. She was 89 years young. She was born on March 29, 1930. She was co-owner of Blaylock’s Grocery for many years until she retired. She was a lifelong member of the Wallins Church of God.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Blaylock Sr; her parents, George and Mahala (Brock) Slusher; four brothers, Rosevelt, Paul, Kenneth and Delmar Slusher, two sisters; June Slusher Saylor and Catherine Slusher White, granddaughter Courtney Blaylock.
Survivors include; Son Paul W. Blaylock Jr. and wife Connie, Daughter Brenda Blaylock both of Wallins Creek, KY, a sister Toni Coldiron of Wallins Creek, KY and a special sister-in-law, Alene Slusher Houston. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Kevin P. White and wife Kimberly of Lexington, KY, Denise Roberts of Louisville, KY, Jason A. Manns and wife Michelle of Harlan, KY, Paula Rae Ball and husband Roger of Wallins and Joshua Paul Blaylock and wife Misty of Richmond, KY, four great grandchildren, Danielle Roberts, Hayden Ball, Emily Kate and Elijah Paul Blaylock, also many nieces and nephews.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, neither be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Visitation will be Monday December 9th, 2019 from 5 to 7 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Ed Houston officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday December 10, 2019 at 11 AM at Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. To follow in procession please arrive at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home at 10:30 AM.
