Mrs. Georgette Baker

Georgette Baker, age 64, of Cumberland, KY, passed away on October 7, 2022, at Chandler Hospital- UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Born on October 9, 1957, in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her father, George Nedella. Georgette loved cooking and baking, enjoyed music and riding her side-by-side in the mountains, and loved her family and grandkids.

Left to mourn her passing are her mother, Pat Cox Nedella; husband, Homer Baker of Cumberland; sons, Zachary Baker and wife Robine of Hamilton, OH and Joseph Baker and wife Sue of Stamford, CT; daughters, Holly Baker of Cumberland and Amanda Pascarl and husband Troy of Australia; brothers, Greg Nedella and Wife Audrey and Tim Nedella; sister, Patsy Bumgardner; grandchildren, Dana Durbin, Arizona Durbin, Brianna Baker, Tyler Baker, Alex Pascarl, Toby Pascarl, Domenic Baker, Elizabeth Baker and Austin Pascarl and great-grandson Noah Baker.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 11 am until 1 pm in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at 1 pm. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Baker may be made to the American Cancer Society.
