George Michael Ball

George Michael Ball, 70, of Rosspoint passed from this life on Saturday June 27, 2020 at the Markey Cancer Center after a courageous battle with Leukemia. He was born February 25, 1950 in Harlan, KY. Mike was a graduate of JACHS, a disabled coal miner and a Veteran of the United States Air force where he served as a crew chief air maintenance specialist while stationed at joint Base Pearl-Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Mike loved the Derby, the lake but most of all the Kentucky Wildcat Basketball and Football teams. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Dover Ball and June Ball Fagin, two brothers Byron Ball and Dennis Fagin. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years C. June Ball of Rosspoint, Daughters Emily Ball of Seattle Washington, Jennifer Stanley of Rosspoint, KY, Valerie Shows, whom he loved as a daughter and grandson Gunnar.
