Frank Fee, age 82, of Harlan passed away July 27, 2014 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1932 in Warbranch, KY to the late Will and Dora Hoskins Fee. He was a retired coal miner and self-employed carpenter and was of the Christian faith. He was a Sargent in the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Fee was a native of Leslie Co., KY but lived most his life in Harlan County.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Fee; brothers: Logan, Erman, Henry, Dale and Curtis Fee; 2 half-brothers: Levi and Clarence Brock; sisters: Sudie Sizemore, Ilana Sage, Della Brock, Callie Perkins, and Helen Day.
Left to mourn his passing is his son, Arnold and wife, Tracey, Fee of Bristol, TN, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29 from 5 to 8PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Wednesday, July 30 at 1PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Jerry Collins officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery with the Harlan Honor Guard serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Dave Hensley, and Eugene McDowell. Full Military Rites will be performed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
