Evelyn Maxine Haynes

Evelyn Maxine Haynes, of Wallins Creek, Kentucky passed from this world surrounded by her family on October 26, 2023 following a short illness. She was 89. She loved attending the Wallins Creek Church of God and was a strong believer in the Christian faith. She took pride in her property and could often be found riding her riding lawn mower around her yard to keep it nice and tidy. She will be greatly greatly missed by her family, who will especially miss her fussing over them and at them.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph and Addie Pope Hensley; All of 12 her brothers and sisters; Her Husband, Melvin Haynes; Her Daughter, Donna Barton and a grandson, Aaron Barton.

 She is survived by her Daughter, Melissa Spataro and husband Tom; Her Grandson, Christopher Barton and Husband Christopher Dennison; Her Great Granddaughter, Crystal Leann Barton and Partner Elijah Oneal; Her Great Great Grandsons, Milo Oneal and Onyx Oneal; Her beloved dog, Scooby Haynes and a Granddaughter-by-blood, April Lamb. Sisters by heart, Von Blanton and Pat Howard; Special niece, Liz Estes.
Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2023 from 11AM to 2PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2PM with Buddy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Family Cemetery in Platts Fork with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
