Earnest Broughton Jr.

Earnest Broughton, Jr., age 59, of Kingsport, TN formerly of Harlan, KY passed from this life March 10, 2014. He was born February 13, 1955 to Beulah Broughton of Tazewell, TN and the late Earnest Broughton, Sr. He was a retired logger with Broughton Logging.
Besides his father he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Nellie Wilder and Charlie and Nancy Broughton; his children: Angie and Dustin Broughton and a special cousin, Michael Broughton.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his son, Dustin (Ashley) Broughton and grandchildren: Shay, Allison, Dustin ll, Harlee, William and Christopher all of Kingsport, TN; Sisters: Debbie (Joe) Pulido of Lehigh FL, Penny (Tony) Warren Warren of Conroe, TX, Brenda Farley and Mary Taylor of Baxter, KY, Lisa (Steve) Caldwell of Bledsoe, KY; special cousins, Scott Broughton of Baxter, KY and James Broughton of Loyall, KY; special uncle, Alonzo Broughton of Baxter, KY and many other special nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2014 from 10AM to 12 noon at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will immediately follow at noon in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Rev. Ricky Broughton officiating.
Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers.
