Earl Napier, age 42, of Bledsoe, KY passed away March 18, 2014 at his home. He was born July 3, 1971 in Harlan, KY to J.R. Napier of Bledsoe, KY and the late Sandy Napier. He was a retired bus driver with the Harlan Co. Board of Education.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandy Napier, and his grandmother, Myrtle Napier, grandparents, Daniel and Julie Hoskins, aunt Kathy Bridges, and father-in-law, Bill Hamby, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Hamby Napier, of Bledsoe; daughter, Chrissy Napier and fiancé, Ryan Patterson, of Bledsoe; son, Henry Ethan Napier of Bledsoe, father and step-mother, J.R. and Karen Napier of Bledsoe; grandfather Bennie Napier of Bledsoe, stepbrother, Anthony Burkhart and son Travis Wayne of Speedwell, TN and stepsister, Denna Burkhart and fiancé, Charles Turner, of Harlan, KY; aunts and uncles: Dot and James Trosper of Corbin, Glenda and Robert Young of Putney, Ken and Kathy Napier of Bledsoe, Vickie and Jeff Hacker of Leslie Co., Carol and Dean Collett of Clay Co., Clark and Denise Napier of Corbin, Brenda Whitehead of Bledsoe, Loretta and Eddie Middleton of Bledsoe, Reva Hoskins and Shaune Patterson of Baxter, and Jewell and Keith Middleton of Bledsoe; mother-in-law, Elsie Hamby, of Partridge, Brothers-in-law, Billy (Marsha) Hamby of Georgetown and Jimmy (Christina) Hamby of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Dee Dee (Eddie) Rice of Nicholasville, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 5 to 8PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 8PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Rev. Perry Long officiating. Graveside service will be at 11AM Friday, March 21 at the Napier Cemetery, Bledsoe, KY. Honorary pallbearers will be: Frank Farley, Andy Howard, Boocher Middleton, Mackey Mills, Clark Napier, Cody “Worm” Burkhart, Randy Gilliam, K.T. Creech, Stevie Creech, Stacey Creech, Steve Callahan, Jonathan Whitehead, and Robert Scearse.
