Douglas Wayne Boggs, 38, of Harlan, Ky passed away May 2nd , 2020 at UK Hospital in Lexington. He was born to the Late Boyd (Bean) Boggs on January 13, 1982.
Doug is preceded in death by his Father, Boyd (Bean) Boggs; Grandparents, Roxie and William Boggs and Mary and Clayton Turner; Brothers, William (Billy) Boggs and David Boggs; Uncles, Jerold Turner, Hobert Boggs, Chester Boggs; Aunts, Ella Jane Couch, Mary Ellen Shell, Lucille Boggs, Lottie Boggs; Nieces, Sierra Posey, Cynthia Posey; Nephew, Shawn Posey; Special Sister in Law, Faye Mullins.
Douglas is survived by his Wife, Sherri Marie Boggs; Son, Connor Boyd Boggs of Harlan; Mother, Iva Boggs; Brothers, Joseph Boggs and Jamie Boggs; Sisters, Gabrielle Minton of Middlesboro, Barbara York and Husband Johnny of Middlesboro, Sally Mullins and Husband Walter of Middlesboro and Mary (Estill) Pruitt of Middlesboro; Sister in law Traci and husband Kevin Beckles of Georgia, Mother in Law and Father in law: Reba and Phil Thomas of Georgia; Brother in law, Wesley Thomas of Georgia; Nieces of Georgia: Ealyn, Holyn, Ashan, Nieces: Jennifer Posey, Jessica Whitehead, Brittany Davis, Jeanne Smith, Sarah Hatfield, Heather Seigler and Jasmine Seigler; Nephews, Devan Boggs, Thomas Hatfield, Casey Hatfield and Walter (Punkin) Mullins, Joshua Mullins and Jeremiah Mullins; Special Friend, Andre Smith. A Host of nieces, nephews and many friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held at New Life Baptist Church 5325 Hwy 81 South, Covington, GA 30016 on June 13th at 2:00 PM. Live Streaming will be available from the church on Facebook.
