Mr. Donald Cox

Donald Ray Cox, 79, of Dayhoit, passed away on July 30, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born to the late Eli and Ruth Smith Cox on February 24, 1939. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a faithful member of the Riverside Baptist Church. Mr. Cox is Preceded in death by his Parents; Loving Wife, Mickey Cox; Sister, Marie Fee; Brothers, A.J. Cox, Clarence Cox and Charles Cox. Donald is Survived by his loving Sons, Donnie Cox and Wife Sandra of Hinkle, KY and Phil Cox and Wife Kim of Oakridge, TN; Grandchildren, Nicole Merrill and Husband Mike, Matthew Cox and Wife Brandi, Callie Cox, Trevor Cox and Eli Cox; Great- Grandchildren, Haley, Kyndal, Kylie and Tatum; Sister, Margaret Goodman; Sister in Law, Joann Noe; Brother in Law, Phil Miller and Wife Joyce; Nieces, Marla and Lisa.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 12PM also in the Chapel with Thomas Heck officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Matthew Cox, Trevor Cox, Eli Cox, Phil Miller, Bob Scott and John D. Gross serving as pallbearers.
